Winelines is a blog about new and interesting wines. We have a number of contributors to the site. These are wine people that have decades of experience with wine tasting. The reviews are theirs, and may also be found on each of their socials and/or various publications.  




Dan Traucki
DAN TRAUCKI

Dan Traucki is a wine journalist and a wine industry consultant. He has been tasting and reviewing wines for a number of decades. Based in South Australia Dan is a regular contributor to Australian Wine Business Monthly magazine. Dan's cellar holds a wealth of Australia's vinous history which he regularly shares and showcases.



GILBERT LABOUR

Gilbert Labour
Gilbert's wine journey began after attending a Winewise Magazine wine appreciation course in the early 1990s. This lead to him completing the WSET program and hosting wine tutoring sessions in Canberra (including at various embassies). 

Gilbert was a regular restaurant reviewer for the Canberra Times, wine show judge, contributor to Jamie Durant's Essentials Magazine and wrote a series of articles for Jancis Robinson's Purple Pages. He has contributed wine reviews for a number of websites including 'The Grape Hunter'. With a varied number of wine 'hats', Gilbert has worked as sommelier for ACT ADA Functions, Cellar Master for the Wine Press Club of Canberra and The Food & Wine Club of Canberra.



SCORING SYSTEM
